ABSTRACT: In Writing for Engineering I learned what makes a good cover letter. In the books, it wrote a very detailed way to achieve a great cover letter. In my first attempt, I lacked to establish a strong purpose and to convince why I would be a great candidate.

I am applying to the summer internship program at Google. I hope to gain relevant experience in this job field so I could pursue a career as a software engineer. I am currently a freshman at City College.

I am very eager to expand my skills through this program. I am responsible and have strong leadership skills. In High School, I learned a great number of basic engineering skills such as background knowledge on electricity and troubleshooting circuits in engines using a multimeter. I also have basic computer skills such as working with the programming language C++ and data analysis. I am very passionate about learning in an environment with so much potential. I am an individualist and a team player. This is why I would be a great candidate for this position.
